Perth concerts & events 2027
Stadium shows at Burswood, arena nights on Wellington Street, theatre runs in Mount Lawley and summer lawns in Fremantle — the Perth 2027 calendar in one place, with on-sale times already converted to WA time.
Perth concerts 2027: what is already on the board
Perth sits a long flight from every other capital, so a tour that bothers to cross the Nullarbor tends to make the most of it. The 2027 list we track already proves the point. Bruno Mars has two nights at Optus Stadium on 13 and 14 February on The Romantic Tour, Foo Fighters play HBF Park on 25 January, and Radiohead have booked four nights at RAC Arena between 3 and 7 May — a rare residency for the city’s biggest indoor room.
The arena is busy from January: Bryson Tiller, Simple Minds, Kehlani, Bryan Adams, Evanescence, Empire of the Sun and Jungle all pass through before autumn, and Westlife bring their 25th-anniversary show in July. Outdoors, Calvin Harris has two nights at Langley Park on the Swan River foreshore, Madness and Fatboy Slim take over Esplanade Park in Fremantle, and Angus & Julia Stone play Kings Park on 5 March. Smaller rooms carry just as much weight: the Astor Theatre in Mount Lawley has a dozen dates, from Level 42 and Public Image Ltd to Squeeze, Tash Sultana and Passenger in October.
Where the shows happen: a quick map of Perth venues
Think of Perth’s live circuit as three clusters. The first is the city and Northbridge: RAC Arena at the western end of Wellington Street, the Riverside Theatre inside the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre beside Elizabeth Quay, and the club rooms north of the railway — Metro City, The Rechabite on William Street and The Ice Cream Factory on Roe Street. The second is the eastern riverbank, where Optus Stadium on the Burswood peninsula and HBF Park in East Perth host the stadium nights.
The third cluster is Fremantle, a half-hour train ride down the line. Freo.Social fills a heritage drill hall, Fremantle Arts Centre runs open-air shows in the grounds of a convict-built former asylum, and Fremantle Prison and Esplanade Park take the summer specials. Further out, the Perth High Performance Centre in Mount Claremont (the old Challenge and HBF Stadium) and Red Hill Auditorium in the Perth Hills cover the in-between capacities. Each one has its own page in our venues guide.
Summer is the peak: how the Perth calendar runs in 2027
January to March is when Perth’s gig diary bulges. Dry, hot evenings make outdoor stages viable almost every night, and international acts escaping the northern winter route through Australia in the same weeks. In 2027 that overlaps with FRINGE WORLD (20 January to 14 February) and Perth Festival (5 to 28 February), so Northbridge and the river foreshore are busy for weeks on end. Book accommodation early if you are travelling in from the regions.
Autumn shifts the action indoors — the Radiohead run, Delta Goodrem at the Riverside Theatre and Malcolm Todd at the Perth HPC in May — and winter is quieter, with the WA club scene and Fremantle’s neighbourhood series taking over. The full month-by-month list lives on our 2027 calendar.
On-sales from the west: timing, presales and queues
Australian tours are usually announced six to ten months out, with a run of presales before the general sale. Card, telco, promoter and venue-member presales each open their own window, often a day or two apart. The catch for Perth is the clock: Western Australia stays on AWST all year, so during the eastern states’ daylight saving the gap to Sydney and Melbourne grows to three hours. When an announcement reads “10am”, check whose 10am it is — national presales are sometimes timed in AEDT, which can mean an early start in Perth.
Online queues on Ticketek and Ticketmaster open shortly before the sale; joining from two devices on the same account rarely helps. Our Perth tickets guide explains which outlet sells which venue and how WA’s resale law protects you.
